30g lily bulb (Bai he)
30g wolfberry fruit (gou qi)
50g rice
10g rock sugar
Method:
- Rinse all ingredients (except rock sugar) and soak in water.
- Cook lily bulb and rice in half a pot of water.
- Turn down the heat and cook for 2 hours, add wolfberry and cook well.
- Season with rock sugar.
Tips and info:
- Soak dry lily bulb in water before cooking to aid releasing of flavor.
- This porridge relieves cough and promotes urination.
